很多朋友可能对成都灯会的由来非常感兴趣，一提到灯会很多不了解的朋友会想起成都灯会，而实际现在每年在成都举办的灯会都是由自贡灯会的技术人员制作的。这里我们重点谈一谈，成都灯会的由来。

    成都灯会是在元宵赏灯习俗的基础上发展起来的一种传统民俗活动。在就有诗人陆游在《丁酉上元》诗中描述成都灯会盛况：“突兀球场锦绣峰，
游人仕女拥千重；鼓吹连天沸午门，灯山万炬动黄昏”。

    在成都灯会的举办时间上：是一年一度。这一中国古老的民间习俗在成都得到很好的展现。

    成都灯会盛况空前，各种灯竞相展示，五彩缤纷，令人眼花缭乱，吊灯、挂灯、走马灯、鲤鱼灯、荷花灯、壁灯、鳌山灯、大花篮等等，有浓厚的
民族地方特色。大多采用大众所熟悉的川剧剧目、历史故事、民间传说、市政建设、工业成就等，反映了成都悠久的历史文化和当代的主要建设成
就。制作精美，是成都人民集体智慧的结晶，展示了成都民间彩扎技艺和书法绘画等高超的传统艺术。

    从1962年起成都恢复春节灯会，会期一个月。灯会期间，公园内有民间曲艺、杂技、杂耍表演；有各种地方风味小吃；还有铸糖人的担子，
卖风车的草把子，每届灯会游人都在百万人次以上。

 The exhibit of lantern in Chengdu is a traditional folk activity which develops from the custom of watching the lanterns on Lantern Festival. The famous poet, Lu You described the grand occasion of exhibits of lantern in his poem Ding You Shang Yuan like this, “The exhibits of lantern is higher than the Jinxiu Peak which is on the court，and the visitors and maiden jostle each other in a crowd；the beat of drums can be heard even at the Meridian Gate，the lantern mountain and torches make the dusk seem dark”.

  The exhibit of lantern in Chengdu opens once a year, which is a good play of Chinese folk ancient custom in Chengdu.

  The exhibits of lantern in Chengdu is unprecedented，all kinds of lanterns compete to show themselves，which is colorful and dazzle the visitors，such as，pendant lantern，hanged lantern，trotting horse lantern，carp lantern，lotus lantern，wall lantern，dragon-turtle lantern，big flower basket lantern etc，which have a heavy local ethnic feature. Most of the material of the lanterns come from the well-known Sichuan Opera，historical stories，folk legend，municipal construction，industrial achievement etc, which reflect the long historical cultural of Chengdu and modern outstanding construction achievement. The lanterns are exquisite，which are the crystal of collective intelligence of Chengdu people and reveal the traditional art in Chengdu，such as folk weave craft and calligraphy and painting.

  The resume of exhibits of lantern of Chengdu was in 1962，which lasts a month. During the exhibits of lantern， there are Chinese folk arts，acrobatic，vaudeville performance; various local favor snacks; the carrying pole of craftsman who make sugar sculpture，the grass bundle of the man who sells windmill. The number of visitors who come to the exhibits of lantern is over one million every year.
